OOTW (outfits of the week) (week of 12/8)

Welcome back to another post ! So starting this week I wanted to create a section on the blog called weekly outfit round-up. I’ve seen several other bloggers do this in order to help their audience find links quicker, and also have all the looks of that week in one place.

I do post my outfits regularly on my story and save them to an OOTD highlight in my bio, but I feel that that can be tedious to look through if you are trying to find a particular look. I won’t be back tracking from weeks before so anything prior to this week feel free to check that highlight. I also feel like this will be beneficial because the Instagram highlight’s can only hold up to 100 posts before having to delete older posts, whereas I can share more on my blog.

So let’s get started !

This first look is from last Friday but I’m adding it in this week because I have not posted any outfits over the weekend .

Lightweight trench : Nordstrom Rack but I will Link a similar one.

Graphic tee : Urban Outfitters (I size up one size for a more loose fit to tuck in and also tie a knot)

Belt: Free People (true to size , but if your size it out of stock a size up won’t be bad because there is holes all around in order to fit whatever waist you have)

Jeans : Levi’s (true to size , I’m wearing my normal size 28 , and these fit amazingly well, unlike any other Levi’s where you have to size up a ton in order for them to fit, and the wash is the perfect vintage look).

Shoes : Target, but will also link similar because they may be sold out.

Necklace: Kendra Scott / Ready Made Jewelry

These four looks are from my Her Campus Style Takeover Segment . I takeover the page’s instastory every Sunday and show how to rock similar styles from the past. I always love these looks I come up with but I forget how I styled them afterwards so this week I decided to take images of them for myself as well as you all.

Starting from Top left to right then bottom left to right:

Look #1:

Free People Glow For It Cardigan (I sized up one because the cardigan runs a little snug , I’m wearing a large)

H&M white tee (true to size , I’m wearing a medium)

Target Faux Leather Pants (I got my regular size medium but I could have gotten a small, the waist is a little too big)

Vagabond Booties (true to size , I’m a US 8/8.5 and I always get 39 in Euro sizing and it always works)

Look #2:

Urban Outfitters Cardigan (sizes up from a medium to a large for a more oversized fit)

Agolde Jeans (wearing my true size 28 but would recommend sizing down one because they do stretch)

Doc Marten Jadon Boots (true to size and has a little more room for a thicker sock)

Look #3:

Free People Easy Street Tunic (wearing xs -runs big)

H&M midi skirt ( wearing a size medium but could have sized down to a small)

Free People Snakeskin Boots (true to size , as mentioned before I order 39 in Euro size so one size up from my regular US size 8/8.5)

Look #4:

Anthropologie Cardigan (one size fits all, chunky and oversize fit)

Fabletics leggings : I size down to a small for a more snug fit and I get the short length (I am 5’4).

Superga Platform Shoes (I’m wearing a size 39 which fits but is a little loose, I think if I would have sized down it would have been too tight, but the 39 works good with a footie sock) CURRENTLY 35% OFF!

Free people Easy Street Tunic : runs big so size down. Im normally a small/medium and I am wearing an x-small.

H & M black skirt: will link a similar option.

Ralph Lauren Crossbody bag: will link similar option.

Mother jeans : run true to size or you can size down because they do tend to stretch (linking a similar option that is on sale).

Blanknyc Suede Jacket : runs small so size up one to twos sizes.

Budweiser Tee

Topshop leather jacket: will link similar option because this one is from last season.

Anthropologie Maeve slip skirt: not yet on the Anthro site but I will link once it goes live.
